Kraft Paper Postcards
Recycled 18pt kraft with visible fiber — the mailer that feels hand-stamped even at 1,000 copies.
Kraft Paper Postcards
A kraft postcard does something a coated one cannot: it looks like it came from a person. The 18pt recycled brown board has visible fibre, an uncoated tooth and a slight variation from sheet to sheet that reads as handmade even when you have ordered a thousand of them. For brands built on small-batch credibility, that texture is not decoration — it is the argument.
Bold black ink is the natural language of this stock, printing with a stamped, absorbed quality that suits type-led layouts, line illustration and anything vaguely botanical. Because kraft is uncoated, it is also the one postcard here you can reliably handwrite on with ballpoint or fibre-tip, which matters more than people expect: a printed card with three handwritten words on it outperforms a perfect one that is obviously mass-produced.
Do go in with clear eyes about colour. The brown base shows through translucent CMYK ink, so everything prints warmer, darker and softer, and pale tints effectively vanish. Photography is not this stock’s strength. If you need a light element to stay light, design it as a knockout so the brown itself becomes the shape.
Available from 4×6 up to 8.5×5.5, printed one or both sides, in runs from 25 to 1,000 — small enough to test an idea for the price of a couple of coffees. Production runs 4–5 business days, every order is checked against the stock by a human, and reprints are free if it does not land the way you hoped.
What people actually print these for
Market and workshop schedules
A season of dates on brown card, handed out at the stall or pinned to a community board. It looks like an artefact of your craft rather than an advert for it.
The handwritten-hybrid mailer
Print the design, then add one line by hand before mailing. On kraft the handwriting looks intentional, and response rates reward the ten seconds per card.
Seed and recipe cards
For food, garden and wellness brands, a kraft card carrying a recipe or planting instructions gets kept in a kitchen drawer for years.
Parcel note cards
Sized to slip into an order and stiff enough to survive transit, with a hole punched for twine if you want it tied rather than tucked.
Workshop take-home sheets
Send everyone home from a class with the method on brown card. It gets pinned to a kitchen wall and quietly advertises the next session.
Wholesale line sheets
Products, wholesale prices and minimums on kraft. Buyers see the same material story your retail packaging tells.
