6mm Coroplast Signs
Waterproof, rigid and feather-light — the default outdoor sign, in the weight that stands up.
6mm Coroplast Signs
Coroplast is corrugated plastic — the same fluted construction as cardboard, made of polypropylene instead of paper. That single fact is why it is the default outdoor sign material everywhere: genuinely waterproof, it does not warp or delaminate in rain, it shrugs off frost, and it weighs almost nothing. A sign that would be a two-person job in plywood gets carried under one arm.
This is the 6mm weight, the sweet spot for anything that has to stand on its own or take wind. It is noticeably more rigid than the 4mm used for cheap disposable signage, so a large panel does not flap and buckle on a fence, and an H-stake holds it upright in a lawn through a season rather than a weekend.
Sizes run from 12×12 up to 24×48, printed one side or both — and if both sides carry the same image we print it for less than two different ones. Grommets go wherever you need them: two corners, all four, or every few feet around the edge for a long fence run. Add an H-stand and the sign plants straight into grass with no tools.
One technical choice worth getting right: flute direction. The internal channels must run vertically for an H-stake to slide in, so choose vertical flutes if the sign is going in the ground. Horizontal flutes resist sag better on a wide fence-mounted panel. Unsure? Say what it is for and a human picks for you. Same-day production is available.
What people actually print these for
Real estate and open house
The category that invented this material. Rigid enough to stand all week, cheap enough to print a set per listing, light enough to carry six in a car.
Construction and trade site boards
A sign on the hoarding advertises to every neighbour for the length of the job — the warmest possible audience for the same work.
Election and campaign signs
Lawn signs at volume, weatherproof for a whole campaign, and light enough for volunteers to distribute on foot.
Event wayfinding
Parking, entrance, registration, this way. On H-stands they plant anywhere and pull up in seconds when the day is done.
Seasonal and roadside retail
Farm stands, garden centres, tree lots. Print the prices, stake it at the roadside, replace it next season.
Fence-line advertising
Grommeted panels zip-tied along a fence at a pitch, site or car park — months of exposure for the price of one print.
