About this product

16pt Business Cards

16pt is the stock that quietly does most of the work in a small business. It is the card you hand across a market table, drop into every package, leave on a counter by the till, and staple to an invoice — cheap enough that giving one away never makes you flinch, and heavy enough that nobody ever thinks less of you for it. For scale: most online printers still ship 14pt as their default, which is roughly cereal-box weight. Our baseline starts thicker than their standard.

Two finishes, and the choice is genuinely about the job. Matte is uncoated and slightly toothy: it kills glare, hides fingerprints, and — the part people forget — it takes pen. If anyone will ever write an appointment time, a price, or a name on the back of your card, matte is the only sane answer. UV high gloss goes the other way: a hard, reflective coat that makes photographs and saturated brand colours snap under market-tent lighting, and shrugs off a coffee ring.

Both finishes print full colour on one side or both, in quantities from 50 to 5,000, with optional rounded corners that stop the dog-earing you get from a wallet or an apron pocket. Quantity is where the economics get interesting: the setup cost is spread across the run, so 500 cards rarely costs anything close to five times what 100 does. If you know you will reorder within the year, order the bigger run once.

Everything is proofed by a human before it prints — bleeds pulled out, margins nudged, low-resolution logos flagged, and the typo you have read past forty times circled. Approve the proof and 16pt runs on our fastest line, with next-business-day production available when you have left it too late. If what arrives does not match what you approved, one email gets it reprinted free.

Ways to use them

What people actually print these for

01

The didn’t-buy-today card

Most people who stop at your booth leave without buying. Hand them a card with a QR to your shop and a first-order code, and the booth keeps selling for a fortnight after you have packed the tent away.

02

Appointment cards that survive

Matte 16pt takes ballpoint cleanly, so you can write the next appointment on the back. Studios, groomers, clinics and detailers: this is the reminder that lives in a wallet instead of a deleted notification.

03

Two-sided price list

Logo and contact on the front, your five core services and prices on the back. It answers the question people are too polite to ask, and it costs pennies to put in every bag.

04

The invoice enclosure

Tuck a card into every invoice and receipt you send. Repeat business in most trades comes from being findable eleven months later, when the customer has forgotten your surname but kept the paperwork.

05

Shelf talkers and table numbers

The same cheap stock props against a product as a mini sign, or numbers the tables at an event. Order one run, cut your signage budget entirely.

06

The job-site leave-behind

Trades: after finishing a job, put one through the door of the four nearest houses. Neighbours who just watched your van outside for two days are the warmest list you will ever have.

If it's not right, it's free.

Color off? Cut crooked? Doesn't feel right in your hand? One email and we reprint it free — no photo evidence, no return shipping, no debate.
